Eh? Pryor was one of the biggest comedy stars in the world in the late 70's.

I also love listening to Bill Cosby, because he's an amazing storyteller that doesn't swear, be racist, rely on shock humour or anything like that. Even if you're not laughing, you're always smiling.

Robins williams standup live at new york is simply genius..

im not a fan of his tv progs but i love ricky gervais standups (especially politics)

and ofc you cant go wrong with lee evans, jack dee or mr billy connolly

Im looking to go and see some good comedy in Brighton sometime soon, as my brother will be coming down? If anyone has any website reccomendations or know any good acts that are going to be on would be appreciated.

Stewart Lee really is one of the best at the moment, but completely different to the Murphys of this world. Dylan Moran is also fb and pretty unique as a standup.

Then there's Eddie Izzard ofc. :cool:

Oh yeah, and you have to forget about allegations that Bill Cosby drugged and molested women. They sort of put a dampener on things.

Yeah, I was born in '73 and i dont remember, as an early teen, having access to any of Pryor's stuff. What i mean is 'Raw' was one of the first 'controversial' show that i seem to remember people talking about at school, language he used, talking about gays. No one said "yeah, he's just like Pryor" despite him being a star already
