am up for the night thread.
stephen king just annoying imo, read one of his books, just far, far too much totally unnecessary detail. gratuitous.
and good luck with that ccfc 4 eva. if staying with her doesn't appeal that much then you don't have a choice. definitely the right decision long term

Damn.
Pretty shitty night. Part of me wishes I went home for the weekend again today, part of me wishes there was a late night bar in Preston. Where is Rats when you need him to guide you to the right places?
Might catch the 6am train and go home until Sunday, pretty pointless but better than staying here and doing hardly anything.

Hehe yeah, I usually ramble on anyway.
It's still early in the year so you have enough time to turn it around. I'm sure come July you will have got a good level degree that you deserve.

Of uni, I'm in my second year, as I transferred from Derby to Uclan. Although I had to start again, so I'm in my first year of my Psychology course.
Just keep everything sorted and don't let things get piled up then you'll be fine.
Which uni are you at? What do you want to do with yourself after uni?

hmmm, you should see where I'm typing from. random notes tucked under random beer cans.
I'm at manchester met. I'm in the process of applying for my pgce, which pays you to become a qualified teacher.
planning on teaching for a few years, traveling for 9 months or so and then going back to teaching / another job, depending on how I enjoyed the teaching. I'm too young to settle down into a job. life is meant for living.
the beauty of the pgce is that I get paid to get another qualification. even if at the end of it, I decide I don't want to be a teacher, I still have another qualification to stick on my CV and I've earned some money in the process. plus teachers start on £21k.

Sounds similar.
A month ago my room was tidy, now there are more beer cans and random stuff which should be thrown away than empty desk space.
My mate is at the Met doing first year Philosophy, he seems to be enjoying it.
As for career wise, I want to teach too but haven't really looked into it to know the full details, as you say there are more things to do in life than leave Uni then get a job for life.
