Are your best mate a guy or a girl?
I would find it strange having a girl as a best friend.

Shame, seems I missed his wedding and he'll miss mine. We went through a lot but I'm glad I find out what I did as I realise now he wasn't trustworthy, which is pretty essential criteria for a best mate, IMO.

Known my best mate for 11 years, been best buds for 8. That was in school. He lived in another city for a while but we were still in touch and met up. We've been renting a flat together for a year now. Would give him the call and vice versa. Not really fallen out but we certainly get on each others wick at times.
Such a love in!

Have a group of four friends who I would considered my best friends.
Ive known them since we were kids, possibly about twelve years give or take. Just about all of us moved to an area, all from different places, and just seemed to click. We've all moved around, still considered locally though, one lives in another country now and other works in another country for the winter season each year.
Would consider all of them to be trustworthy, would be able to call on each other in any situation. We all have flaws/issues, never really fall out, well sometimes over silly childish things for about five minutes.

Hmmm not sure i have a "best friend", as such, but have known a few mates since the first day of primary school. So we are talking close to 20 years now.
We used to paint and play in the sand together, now we live the rock n rol lifestyle together.

I always had a group of friends, with maybe around 5/6 of them I'd consider my closest. That's changed a bit over the years, until I realised that there were two that were probably my best friends. I've had to make a choice for best man at my wedding though. Was a hard decision, but I did choose my oldest mate, who I've known since I was 6 (we would sit under the stair and perv under the teachers' skirts). We've travelled a lot over the years as well, and that seperates him from my other close friend, who I don't see as much although we were probably closer in high school.
As if anyone's reading this ffs | where am I?
