Gary Lineker presents highlights and goals from the day's Premier League fixtures in Saturday's Match of the Day (2230 GMT, BBC ONE/online and Sunday 0730 GMT on BBC ONE/online).

Arsenal meet title rivals Manchester United in the day's big game.

Despite finishing 21 points adrift of the champions last year, Arsenal did the double over Sir Alex Ferguson's side, winning 1-0 at Old Trafford and 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

With the Gunners making a terrific start to the current campaign, the Red Devils can expect a real test in north London.

Another side with title aspirations, Liverpool, make the short trip to Ewood Park to face Blackburn Rovers.

Rafael Benitez's team will be out for revenge against Rovers, having lost to a Benni McCarthy goal in this fixture last year.


MOTD RUNNING ORDER

Newcastle v Portsmouth
Fulham v Reading
Everton v Birmingham
Middlesbrough v Tottenham
Wigan v Chelsea
Blackburn v Liverpool
Aston Villa v Derby

Chelsea play struggling Wigan at the JJB Stadium while Newcastle take on fast-improving Portsmouth.

Aston Villa will expect maximum points against Derby, with Middlesbrough up against Spurs, Fulham playing Reading and Birmingham visiting Everton.
