I am curious about the best players in the best league. So, who is the best left back today, who is the most promising and who is the best of all time in the EPL?

My favorite (biased MUFC fan) is Evra. He does it all from solid D, great tackling, superb crosses and constant composure. I don't see any weaknesses. Ashley Cole is close, but so undurable.

I think Bale shows a ton of potential. And, his free kicks are already outstanding.

I admittedly do not know enough to opine on the best ever. So, I look forward to your thoughts.

Evra by a long shot. Baines probably pretty promising. Best ever? Wayne Bridge put us into the CL Semis iirc :cool: Not many left backs have done that for their club.
