this is the beginning of what I hope will be a culturally and musically edifying experience.

my first song is Kings of Convenience - I'd Rather Dance With You.

Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe, hailing from Norway, make up Kings of Convenience, a folk pop band that echo most closely Simon and Garfunkel with their delicate, guitar-driven melodies. I'd Rather Dance With You, one of their most uptempo numbers, showcases their trademark hushed vocals and string accompaniment as the protagonist abandons his inhibitions and instead chooses to embrace the physical and tangible with his erstwhile love interest.

My first song is Rodrigo y Gabriella - Diablo Roja

Rodrigo y Gabriella are a two piece 'band' if you will. Twins, they were born in Mexico, and moved to Ireland when they grew up. Neither sing, only perform on their Guitars, and Gabriella plays the drums on hers too. This song, Diablo Roja, is about a rollercoaster in Mexico, and this song protrays the feelings you get when riding it! Enjoy!

the repetition of songs gets a little tiring after a while, but the better tracks are up there with the best stuff he's ever done.
