Blackburn vs Liverpool - Setanta Sports, 5:15pm KO *Spoilers*
Tough match here for both sides... Time for a boil in the bag match thread:
Quote:
Blackburn play host to Liverpool in the tea-time kick-off on Saturday evening looking to maintain their fine form.
Rovers have won their last seven games in all competitions and they currently sit in fifth spot, one place above Liverpool.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have the best away record in the league this term and they will be aiming to keep that up as they look to keep pace with the leading pack.
Blackburn could have Aaron Mokoena available despite fears he may have broken his leg in midweek.
Scans have shown that Mokoena escaped serious injury against Portsmouth and he is expected to be fit to face Liverpool.
David Bentley faces a late fitness test ahead of the game as he struggles to shake off a shin complaint.
Robbie Savage is ruled out after undergoing knee surgery and he joins Jason Roberts and Steven Reid on the sidelines for Mark Hughes' men.
Liverpool, who are still unbeaten in the Premier League this term, travel to Ewood Park without Fernando Torres and Xabi Alonso.
Alonso is missing after suffering a recurrence of his foot injury against Arsenal last weekend, while Torres sustained an adductor problem in the same game.
Mohammed Sissoko is expected to recover from illness to take his place in the squad, while Javier Mascherano has shaken off a bruised foot.
skysports.com prediction: Blackburn 1 Liverpool 1

Jermaine Pennant is also absent as he recovers from a broken leg which forced him to miss the draw with Arsenal.
Daniel Agger is still sidelined with a foot injury meaning Sami Hyypia will return to the starting line-up, after being rested for the midweek Carling Cup win over Cardiff.
Harry Kewell could be involved against Blackburn after making a successful return to action against Cardiff.
Though hopefully Lucas will start and not Sissoko.
Last season here we dominated the first half, should have been 3-0 up, then conceeded a goal and all of a sudden because the worst side imaginable. Horrific how badly we were rattled, I was ashamed. Hopefulyl this time we do the job properly.

I'd pick that team also, with Lucas instead of Momo. I think this will be a very tricky game, could go either way so no point in me predicting the score....
P.S It was Blackburn when Crouch missed a few easy headers right?

Yeah, that's the one. Was at least 2 good chances. Shocking. That game was probably the low point of our league season last time. We were totally dominating and then when we went 1-0 we were so rattled by Blackburn it was unbelievable, nothing short of disgraceful.
Don't get me wrong, Blackburn are a very good side, but we totally fell to bits. I doubt Benitez will let our players forget that though, so hopefully that'll be an extra bit of motivation.
