Default Orange lights in the sky

About 20 mins ago there were 3 what can only be described as slow moving orange burny things moving north to south in the night sky. They were following the same trajectory and I could not hear any obvious noise when standing outside. They also appeared to be following the path of a lighter arc compared to the rest of the sky.

No they were not fireworks They slightly freaked me out. So what were they OTF? Afterburners on experimental aircraft? Aliens? Solar effects?

I had a dream about a strange aircraft with orange lights last night. Well, mostly the dream was me and half of the casts of Green Street and Layer Cake stealing thousands of pounds from a warehouse so we could move to Dubai, but there was a strange aircraft with something written in Norwegian flying overhead just before I woke up.

Probably isn't related to what you saw though.

where do you live? Could help explain what they were. However it was most likely a normal plane.

Peterborough. The odd thing was there were 3 in a pattern, and the orange-ness of it all certainly looked like fire

You should have taken warning -- it's just people mourning, running, hiding, lost. You can't find, find a place to go.
