Haw! I didn't put enough time into my first attempt...and it showed. I trashed it...and rightfully so. [saywhat]

Maybe I'll try again, being inspired by our two resident Picasso's.

This last week, though, I've been building up a new version of the Mac OS (Tiger). As I own nearly 300 licensed apps and have a highly customized system it has been taking most of my time to get necessary updates, install software anew so I have a pristine system etc. The migration is nearly over, though. I've only two issues left and they are small potatoes.

Whew! Now back to using my computer rather than goofing around!

Well, most of them are relatively minor shareware apps, only about 50 are what I'd call 'major' applications. Then there are a zillion Photoshop and Illustrator plugins (all of which are licensed and have to work with the new OS) and, um, about 20 games... well you get the idea. I just like software, I guess.

It took me nearly a full day just to get Photoshop working! [confused]

I used to work with a wildlife rehabilitation center (birds like crows, ravens and raptors were their specialty) and I knew and enjoyed the crows and ravens especially -- tried to convey that love for these creatures in this little image. I have no education in abstract art but gave it a whirl and liked this.

Raven - you put me to shame! your abstract is soooooo good. I did two but couldn't get the feel. I'll try again but no promises...

Welles - quit playing around with that machine and get picaossing.
