Moved house in September and due to various ****-ups I was without the internet for a month.
It was horrible. Luckily I could still use it at work though, so didn't feel completely cut off.

Signed up for Sky Broadband the other day. Rang them up on friday to check my line was activated and they said yes. Set it all up over the weekend and guess what - im not activated /o\

Couple of years back I didn't really have the net due to not having it at a flat I was living in, and doing a job that required work.
Didn't miss it at all really. Just a way to pass the time. Only issue was contact with mates abroad.
