yes last night was truly incredible.
when i saw them at leeds festival i was promised a "spiritual experience" but due to the crowd not being as into it as they could have been, it wasnt that great. sure technically they were great etc, but i was bored because nobody was singing or anything.
but manchester last night was just amazing, from the time during keep the car running when the band drops out for "when its coooooming" bit, and all you could hear was 20,000 people roaring it back i knew it was going to be a great night.
no cars go was incredible, and the whole "ooooooooooo" bits of that song (and many others) sounded even better with everyone singing along.
Tunnels was fantastic, and "in the backseat" was scarily emotional. i think im actually in love with the woman lol, shes not conventionally hot but when her voice...
power out followed by rebellion before the encore was mad, we were close enough to the front to get people jumping around us, which is nice because i didnt expect that. the intro to rebellion with everyone clapping and jumping was great.
but for me the encore made it even better, Intervention is the one ive loved for the last few months and Wake Up of course is simply the best song ever, in about 3 months its become my
fav song just in general. everyone singing along to that in an arena is not something you forget in a hurry. its everything i expected at leeds and didnt get.
basically that gig has jumped in at second in my
fav ever, with muse at wembley (on the sat) still being at the top due to the sheer scale of it!
