a week off after the fa cup third round makes sense to me

I think players should get Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day off. They are humans after all (even if some of them are paid far too much), and deserve to get to spend Christmas with their families.

That's it though. After that, back to football. Game on the 28th.

Players these days are wimps!!!

Players used to play 2 games in 2 days (even on Christmas Day), now they struggle to play 2 games in a week. And apparently these are the fittest bunch of players ever!
