Thing is clubs would see it as a chance to get some easy money, and go touring some random country just like in pre-season, negating the point of the break

We have a winterbreak in Belgium as well but I'd like to see it disappear. Those players get paid for doing their job, not for resting.

Might even happen if the new league format comes through.

International breaks are great. It's a lot more interesting IMO to watch Brazil, Argentina, Germany, etc... than the Euro leagues.
