3/5 make me think you're taking the Michael, whereas the other 2 make me think you're serious :/ </BLOCKQUOTE>

Finnan is the best, a model of consistency which is what you want from a RB, plus I think he does get a few assists aswell.

Richards will never make it as a Centre half imo, until he becomes a more intelligent footballer.

I think Ferreira is a big game player and always plays well.

I heard people putting him as the best last year, when he is actual poor at positioning.

I just said Stephen Carr because I didn't want to put Neville as the best ever.

No one has anything to say about Corluka? I hate to say it, but he has looked solid (sans last week's game where no one looked much of anything.)

Steve Finnan is god. The only defender currently in our team who I don't want to sell. Unless Aurelio plays ofc :*)

He pulled off a marvellous piece of skill outside our box against us a week ago sunday. Had to do a double take when I saw it was Finnan.

Ferreira overrated? Haha. Everyone knows he was **** last year.

Was going really well though since Grant took charge. Bit of a cliche but I think he's a confidence player, like SWP, and needs a cuddle now and then. He'sis fairly useful at left-back to which is where he's playing playing for Portugal. Out for a while now though unfortunately.
Was talking about when he was signed for huge fee (at the time for a right back) and was shat. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Surely "most overrated" is the player - at this present moment in time - that you hold in lowest regard relative to how others, in your opinon, rate him? Not even sure how the transfer fee factors/

Regardless, the fee is an anomoly. Firstly, the transfer took place over three years ago. Secondly, it was an integral cog in the Mourinho transfer saga. Thirdly, Chelsea were a law unto themselves in the first couple of seasons following RA's arrival regarding transfrs in.

Aside from the fee, he was actaully great. In his first two years he was a near ever-present in a side that walked the EPL on each occasion conceding less goals than any other side. Even better, he kept Glen Johnsen out the side.

The player I was thinking of is Lauren. When I first started watching soccer a lot in the late 90s early 00s, I always noticed how he was basically unbeatable down his side. At least, that is what I remember. Also remember him having a hammer for a right foot. I do feel like I have somehow blended him and Thuram together. Hmmm...still went out partying a lot back then so...who knows.

But in the final analysis, Neville is a better player imo.
