best ever (assuming we're talking in the history of the Premiership) is clearly Gary Neville. best atm is hard to call given that of the two usual suspects in this discussion, Nev is permanently 'two weeks away from fitness' and Finnan's looked pretty average this season from what i've seen. Sagna looks pretty decent, Micah Richards is a decent shout even if it's not his best position. from a biased POV Wes Brown's done pretty well this season. bit of a dearth of quality right-backs in the division really.
