Just found out my brother has been mugged tonight two minutes from his student house. He was on way back from taking a girl home and was approached by two guys. One of which gave him no warning and punched him in the face. It broke his glasses and cut his face and he ended up in hospital quite badly hurt. They then stole his wallet and phone. There was nothing in his wallet and he has since has cancelled the cards and his phone was **** and had no real resale value, his glassses were the main financhial loss as were expensive.
For christ sake if you have to rob someone for whatever pathetic reason, threaten them and then take their stuff for your drug habbit or whatever rather than leaving them in hospital and commiting two crimes!
A friend of mine who went to University in Southampton had a pretty shocking story. Two of her housemates were walking home late at night with a pizza when a couple of ****ed up lads asked if they could have some.
They obviously said no and that there was a pizza place just down the road if they wanted any. They carried on walking home and the guys walked off.
Then when they got back to their house, just as they were opening the door these two guys jumped on them, ended up smashing the door off the hinges, breaking windows and beating the two guys up...all for a freaking pizza! :o
Some people just complete tossers, just nothing you can do about it.
Technically yeah. Kid with a knife came up to me demanding money and I shoved 10p in his hand and told him to **** off. Later discovered he was the local psycho and I was pretty lucky he didn't feel particularly stabby that day
My mum made me get the Police round and they said it was technically a robbery because I gave him 10p
