Week nights - 5-6 hours
Weekends - 5-8 hours (7 or 8 if I'm lucky)

at the moment nowhere near enough, not felling tired when i should go to bed so end up staying up till 1 or 2 in the morning and then getting up at 7 and feeling knackered during the day.
Going to start trying to force myself to go to bed at 11 or 12 which will give me a good solid 7 or 8 hours which should be enough.

I think I read somewhere that on average aduts only need around 4 hours sleep but I thought we needed 8 hours sleep.
I work shifts 6-2 and 2-10 and I tend to go sleep around 1 all the time and wake up at 5 when I am on earlys and about 8 when on lates.
Good to hear I am not the only one who doesn't get much sleep. If I wake up during the night I struggle to go back to sleep and I just can't seem to drop off if I go before 11.
