Littlewoods gave valued customers a discount code to get football shirts cheap as chips on the eve of the World Cup last year. It got posted across many forums (here included), lots of people ordered and bought shirts for said cheap price. Littlewoods are now in the process of chasing all of those 'new' customers up for the full price of shirts, citing some law in their favour. iirc.

You just have to create the account using the redemption code, then it makes the card optional.

itunes do this kind of thing all the time and it gets exploited. Litlewoods only crying because they expect people to be good and honest online, itunes are an online only service that know exactly what'll happen.

yeah I'm only doing 5 because I can't be bothered doing new accounts, plus I don't really like getting songs off iTunes, prefer to buy cds.
