got to be the nadir in terms of the domestic transfer market, surely? Juni's argument is a fair one but i struggle to believe there weren't cheaper options out there (vastly cheaper) who could do an equivalent job.

TV deal goes up, so does transfer spending. It's not quite a false economy, but it's close.
