This story's been exaggerated quite a lot, Ian Wright signed for Crystal Palace when he was 21, he'd been playing football at lower levels since he was a child.

Looking forward to the day when someone says 'Ian Wright actually never kicked a ball in his life yet is still Arsenal's second leading goalscorer, so it just shows that it's never too late'

Will probably never happen though

not sure if you're being deliberately a bit silly, but 'scoring for fun' implies that he's just putting the ball in the back of the net whenever he feels like, it's so easy for him that scoring goals is a bit of a laugh really.
