I am thinkig of buying one for christmas with my bonus money but are they any good and really worth getting? People have a cd player in their cars and a hi-fi at home so are they really worth having.
I dont have a walkman so one of these would be perfect for when I go to work and I like the idea of putting my album collection to one of these and listen to them in the car rather than have a lod of cds in the car.
never appealed to me that much at all. main reason is that the earphones hurt my ears after a while. Just feels really uncomfortable, and they always fall out. I'm probably sounding quite backward here but it's honestly true, anyone else have this problem?

TBH the ipod earphones are *****. Buy yourself some decent headphones with it and then you ave an excellent little system.

don`t bother until they support flac
What's flac and should I go for the classic rather than the touch? I like the look of the touch. How much are the songs and album to download and can I transfer things from sky to the ipod?
well I think the ipod headphones are widely considered lame even by ipod fanboys? would just invest in a nicer set if I were you.
Im actually considering buying one just for the fact I am bored of using my PSP as a mp3 player considering it has over sensitive controls and pretty limited options in regards to making playlists, etc. Plus I only have a gb card and its amazing how quickly 250 songs can get old
