a magazine list of the best teenage footballers in the world bearing a lot of similarities to the best teenage footballers in the world in the fm database. who'd have thought it?

Where is Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting?

Decent enough list, made all the more credible by the inclusion of Gareth Bale.

Is Freddie Adu still not the best player ever and still only 14?

Ismail Aissati, PSV Eindhoven - promising attacking midfielder iirc? Don't really know

Alexandre Pato, AC Milan - striker who hasn't yet had much of a chance at Milan I don't think. Can't stand Gilardino or Inzaghi, so hopeful that he will.

Anderson, Manchester Utd - looked great in the the game against coventry, controlled large parts of the game.

Gareth Bale, Tottenham - fb. Incredibly impressed when I saw him for Southampton against Coventry. Total class, and he was a young seventeen year old then. Had a good start at Spurs as well - I'm confident he'll become one of the best left backs in the world.

Sergio Aguero, At. Madrid - Atlético spent absolutely loads on him but he's been pretty impressive this season. Haven't seen masses of footage of him but heard a lot about him, looking forward to watching his progress.

Ever Banega, Boca Juniors - no idea

Bojan Krkic, Barcelona - is apparently fb. really young, only 17 still or something. Andy Jordan linked me to one outrageous piece of skill he did after coming on as a sub a few weeks ago, but in the times I have seen him he hasn't done that much.

Breno, Sao Paulo - no idea
Gerardo Bruna, Liverpool - no idea
Diego Bounanotte, River Plate - no idea
Christopher Byland, Free Agent - no idea
Macauley Chrisantus, Abuja - no idea
Angel di Maria, Benfica - no idea
Franco di Santo, Audax - no idea

Karim Benzema, Lyon - been scoring quite a lot for lyon this season if I remember rightly. Shame Lyon probably aren't the side they were. Didn't know he was a teenager to be honest. Juni adores him.

Dumitru Copil, Hearts - no idea. Really none despite the fact I spent a whole day researching hearts the other day. Is that Hearts as in Heart of Midlothian?

Kermit Erasmus, Sundown - no idea
Fabio, Fluminense - vaguely heard of him but wouldn't even be able to tell you the position

Fabio Coentrao, Benfica = silky and skilful attacking winger, looked good for Portugal U21s the other week although was outshone by Veloso.

Maquane Fellaini, S. Liege - no idea
Guilherme, Cruzeiro - striker I think, only know that from FM
Nour Hadhria, Club African - no idea
Rabul Ibrahim, S. Lisboa - no idea
Damian Ismodes, S. Cristal - no idea
Lorenzo de Silvestri, Lazio - no idea

Kerlon, Cruzeiro - very interesting. This is the chap that does the 'seal dribble' - balancing the ball on his forehead and then running past defenders. Apparently defenders in Brazil are indignant about this, saying it's taking the p*ss, and deliberately foul him when he does it, and astonishingly get defended in the media apparently. what happened to the brazilian style of individuality in football?

Toni Kroos, Bayern München - no idea
Lulinha, Corinthians - no idea
Sapol Mani, Maranatha - no idea

Juan Manuel Mata, Valencia - some young forward who's been on the bench for them recently, never seen him play but I know his scoring record is pretty poor. He might be a midfielder though

Cristian Nazarith, Cali - no idea
Aaron Niguez, Valencia - no idea despite researching Valencia recently
Daniel Opare, Ashanti - no idea
Ransford Osei, Kesseben - no idea

Fran Merida, Arsenal - midfielder nicked from Barca (I think) by Wenger when he was barely out of nappies. sound familiar? No idea if he's going to be as good as cesc, FM says he's a defensve midfielder.

Nikolay Mihailov, Liverpool - no idea
Mesut Ozil, Schalke 04 - no idea
Renato Augusto, Flamengo - no idea

Micah Richards, Man City - I really like him. Loved it when he swore on BBC television. His BBC column's not fantastic but he seems quite sound.

Andrea Russotto, Treviso - no idea
Henri Saivet, Bordeaux - no idea

Alexis Sanchez, River Plate - legendary on FM. Young winger who's been grabbing a bit of attention in South America recently. Injured at the moment though I think. Would like to see him play for Chile in a few weeks, not sure if he'll still be injured though.

Giovani dos Santos, Barcelona - haven't seen him do much for Barca really. He looks technically capable but just nowhere near as exciting as Messi. Harsh player to compare him too. But when he started against AlmerÃ*a he did little, Messi coming on transformed the team.

Marek Suchy, Slavia Praha - no idea
Sergio Tejera, Chelsea - no idea
Ivan Rakitic, Schalke 04 - no idea. have heard the name but no idea, as i just said
Abdou Traoré, Rosenborg - no idea
Gregory van der Wiel, Ajax - no idea

Carlos Vela, Osasuna - Mexican fellow on loan from Arsenal. I should know more about him recently. Arsenal fans seem quite excited about him, not sure how he's been getting on at Osasuna. Will see him play in a few weeks.

Theo Marie Walcott, Arsenal - quite like him, annoys me when people moan about Sven taking him to the WC and not using him (there was never an opportunity to) but that's irrelevant. I hope he's a success at Arsenal. Won me £164 the other week in the Slavia Prague game, should have been more, his finishing is far from perfect.
Yeah that feels a bit pointless. Not much opinion, just scraps of information that anyone could easily find out anyway

Oh and I have heard of MacAuley Christanus, Andy Jordan showed me a video of him the other day. A striker who's got a decent finish, difficult to tell more than that really
