FM06 was the best FM so far imo, but that was too easy (perhaps that's why I enjoyed it ) At least it wasn't the frustrating crap that was 07.

Yeah, seen lots of comments in the FM thread about "well 07 was worse". If that's the best thing you can say, I'd be worried tbh.

I really enjoyed FM 06, took until February/March this year until I really got into FM 07.

FM 06 had a patch on release day and I pretty much only played the one game I started that day.

ultimately comes down to whether i'm enjoying the game or not, regardless of whether that's down to it genuinely being very good or diminished expectations. so far i am, and i'd assume with patches it's not going to get any worse.

Talking more about people clutching at straws to find reasons to persist playing really. When people start talking along the lines of it not being as bad as something, I don't know why they don't go and play, or do, something else. Seems a bizarre way to spend your time.
