Talk is that Konami are following EA's next gen example and re-writing PES for the new consoles next year. So Seabass says, remains to be seen obv.

Although it's definitely better multiplayer and a far better game engine, Fifa needs to do as much in the next year to make a genuinely great game, putting any comparison aside.

So yeah, FM could do with an overhaul tbh.

tbh I think data accuracy is the key to CM's success and why CM01/02 is still being played. Ironically that could be the trouble with the new game because anyone with time and passion can put a data update out whenever they want so once again SI is forced into a never ending cycle of pointless additions that don't add much to the game and just seem to make the game duller and slower with every iteration.

I haven't bought FM07 or 08. And quite frankly the demo (and thus the full game) hasn't been up to scratch. New features that doesn't work and old bugs still in the game and then a patch that brings new bugs makes me feel right too.
