This is one of the reasons why I hate english teams..In Turkey if we find many goals in early minutes of the game,winning team slows down the game in order to show respect to oppositon team.I remember a couple of years back Besiktas was winning 5-0 in first 50 minutes against Trabzonspor,Besiktas players slowed down the game and didnt attack much.This is called football culture and respect to oppositon team..You can see the same thing also in Italy.When you are leading already 5-0,you see that opposite team morally collapsed and doesnt play the game ,what is the point of running and attacking like crazy in order to find more goals and humiliate the opposite team?Please someone explain this to me..No mercy at all,if you win 3-0 or 30-0 you still get the same 3 point.. :thdn: :cool:

Because people pay to see a whole match of football, not to see some early action then to see the rest of the game fizzle out into nothing.

Plus Liverpool are on poor form, especially at home, we need all the boosts we can get.
