It depends how you're connected, if it's via CSD it costs a **** load (the mobile equilavent of dial-up I think). Basically on O2 don't use the Internet from what I hear
26 mins costing a fiver seems a lot though, I pay £12.50 my unlimited* for 1.8Mbps connection (*not really unlimited cos there's a limitation). It's acually fater than ****ing Virgin.

Well since you "download" when you visit a webpage it will be costing something.
i know that but what im saying is you would have to be on a helluva lot of sites to be chsrged that much </BLOCKQUOTE>
Not at all.
If I'm right, an N73 goes on the proper internet rather than on WAP. You'll be charged per megabyte of information transferred. Dunno what O2s charges are, but on Orange the standard rate if you have no specific bundle for it is about £3 per megabyte.
So if the rates are similar, you're being charged for transferring just under 2mb of data. That could easily be just one web page, if it's got much on it in the way of graphics or photos.

its o2 but i always lock my phone and in my N73 it would be difficult to accidently go onto the internet.
isn't wap determined with the amount dowloadeded rather than time spent? if so i would have to have visited a lot of sites or downloaded a lot to warrant these amount of chrges
do you disable/turn off your bluetooth?
if not could you have been hacked?
