There are no words to describe this cover version of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long"

So much rightness and wrongness on the same thread!!

Bliss Seeker - Prince WROTE Kiss, so not sure how that's a cover...

Half-time Orange - I may never forgive you for making me click on that link

Definitely agree with Richard Cheese (basically everything he's done is better or at least not worse than the original, especially "You Oughta Know" and "Creep") and Jimi's "All Along the Watchtower".

Would add Metallica - "Am I Evil" and Eva Cassidy - "Autumn Leaves", Nina Simone - "I Put A Spell On You" and Jeff Buckley - "Lilac Wine".

Nirvana - The Man Who Sold The World

Biffy Clyro's covers of Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out and Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way are a couple of personal faves as well.

There's a few more that I can't remember at the moment.......

Darren Purse is infamous around these parts

loads that have already been mentioned in here (Buckley, Nirvana, the majority of Johnny Cash cover's he's done) but the one i heard the other day which i expect to get laughed out the thread for is Leona Lewis' cover of Snow Patrol's 'Run'

hate snow patrol, and the guy has a poor voice, and yeh does a lot of typical vocal gymnastics on it, but she just has an amazing voice and totally nails the song.

You really should listen to some of Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, a cover band which comprises of members of different rock groups, most notably Chris Shifflet out of the Foos! Some of their music is excellent
