I worked the phones for a **** dodgy brothers petrol company selling this stuff.

Apparently alot of people get put off when they use it for the first time, and their exhaust starts putting out lots of black smoke (especially common in trucks).

They said it was the biodiesel "cleaning out the engine" or some crap..

They also never paid me $800 in back pay

Got sacked when no-one would buy either their crappy "in your buisness" discout vouncher books (only $1150 for a 6 month supply!, FOUR CENTS OFF!) or their pointless "Business fuel cards".

Guys running it had no clue. Changing their ideas every few weeks, little to no supervision of us, we played cards for most of the last 2 weeks. Basically phoned everyone we possibly could with the resources they gave us (a handful of old phone books), and they would not let us phone anyone outside our local area.

In the last week, when we finally got some more numbers/contacts, on the 2nd day we were greeted with a nice article in the major NSW newspaper of the company ruining a dozen cars with fuel that had water put or drained into it. Made the job super easy. Even easier than usual.

That's right, isn't it? Biodiesel has better cleaning properties for the engine, and therefore cleans out a lot of the cr*p traditional diesel can't shift.

Probably means a few filter changes though.

I do know a farmer on the romney marsh, who produces it from crushing rapeseed.
How much he has and how much it costs I really don't know.
I do know that as the rapeseed price has shot up this year, therefore I suspect that the oil price will be higher as well.
I could give you some details if you are genuinely interested.

I am, but Romney Marsh is just too inconvenient.

No suppliers is a spanner in the works.

I thought that most BioDiesel was made from used chip fat. Surely most of that would be disposed of in a non eco-friendly way.

Anyway hydrogen will be the future, even Arnold Schwarzenegger has a hydrogen fueled Humvee.
