I think the Olympics coming to this country can be looked at from both a positive and negative angle. I mean yes it will increase tourism and therefore income to the country which can only be a good thing.

But the spiralling costs i'm sure the government knew from the start, they should have been more forthcoming with their figures imo...the dispatches show on c4 shows the government knew about rising costs long before they were announced publically.

But i guess only time will tell.

You can't look at it from a purely financial angle.

The social impacts should be impressive.

looks fine. supposed to be wrapped in canvas or something, so they can play various images on the sides of the stadium. or something like that.

any chance of it getting built in time?
