Yeah, in threads about some tragedy that's taking place I don't remember seeing twenty or thirty people trying to be funny by making jokes about it. Think that sort of thing happens now more than it used to. Before it would have been one or two people attempting to be 'edgy'.

I am in no way implying that the forum was 'better in the good old days' and that the world's going down the pan and all that, forum's miles better now than it used to be. But I'm not keen on loads and loads of people making an effort to get a cheap laugh from this sort of thing

Someone really should have identified his spiral to this action long ago. Sadly it's all too easy to convince yourself it probably won't happen, so he's gone untreated for what is clearly a mental illness.

Not that his philosophy doesn't have some merit, just shooting random people not really the way to put it on the agenda.

so yer if he posted that nearly 2 weeks ago on youtube you would have thought somebody would have picked up on it ffs </BLOCKQUOTE>Yhat video was actually posted on YouTube on Tuesday. Possibly Wednesday, since I think YouTube's posting dates are based on US time.

Is it mental illness though? We see his beliefs as very extreme but does that make it mental illness?
