It's very logical that a guy with ideas and thoughts like that is interested in deathmetal and other rubbish and probably plays counterstrike and the likes.

But saying that one may be the cause of the other is just mad. It would be the same as saying I watch and play football because I play PES and FM. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Well, by your own argument...

does playing PES / Fifa make you want to play football in real life?
Does it make you wish you could really do those things?

I've played Counter-Strike and it doesn't make me want to go and shoot my college up with an AK

Playing football games is not the cause of me playing it in real life, which I thought would be clear from what I said earlier...

Exactly. That guy we're talking about here probably shares the same opinion. He most likely wanted to blast his student collegues anyway because of his insane mind, not so much because of watching Apocalypse now or shooting up pixels.

Finland does have the highest ratio of gun ownership in Europe (still some way off the United States, though).

56 guns per 100 people
Low rate of gun violence
Guns used in 14% of homicides
your choice though

whats the statistics got to do with anything? How about the ease with which if someone wants to do a madman act and kill a bunch of people how easy guns ownership allows someone to do that.
