Ran it for Mitchells and Butlers - just started working for them and worked up - they sort out your exams and stuff for license etc and the courses you need to do. when they're ready they'll give you a deputy or managers role.

Yeah, looking to do it without actually being employed by a company, if you see what I mean. I can get some hours at a local in the evenings, but I don't want to completely shift jobs to a place. Mainly because I simply can't afford to.

I thought as much. I couldn't remember if she worked her way up or not and it appears she did. She's selling her shares she has in M&B soon - she had to be employed by them for 5 years or something, so kept working Friday nights whilst she went to Uni. £8k ffs!
