Some people here under the impression that I'm starting some kind of campaign, petitioning parliament and so on.
In fact, I'm mildly annoyed by something and I've starting a thread on a messageboard to convey my annoyance. OMG I'm obsessed!

You've only got the bods at the Premier League to blame for all of this EPL-naming. They market it overseas as the 'EPL' and the fanboys from overseas on here come in calling it that. It brings in the money for them and is their 'brand'. So there.

The minute Richard Keys says "EPL" is the minute it becomes acceptable imo.

hate all the stats about 'first time in the premiership area', 'most appearances in the premiership' area. such crap, it was a name change and nothing to do with statistics at all. can understand why sky do this as it's an ongoing part of their brand, football started in 1992, but when the BBC do it it's just ridiculous.
