Starting to get used to it on here, hopefully it doesn't ever come into common speak in the real world.
Premiership sounds better than NFL/NBA/EPL imho.

Anyone else see the irony of the biggest lower league supporter on the boards getting hyped up about the Premier League ??

i agree it's slightly irksome (it's not like theres and italian, spanish, german premier league for example). but, with most things on here being abbreviated, it gonna be either the epl or pl. i guess the latter might confuse people.

It's to distinguish it from other nations leagues that are entitled the Premier League. You'll find that most places outside of England refer to it as the English Premier League and considering that this board is one where there are multiple nations, why is it a problem?
