Yeah, the UAE have gone on about wanting to host a World Cup before, forgetting the fact that it's tiny, roads are gridlocked already and the summer is mid-40 degrees upwards. Cant see it happening

True but they're also not keen on looking bad and attempting to host this would be a shambles. They like to chuck things out there like that to make themselves sound important

They cant even organise a concert here with traffic gridlock and chaos  Current stadiums are rubbish as well. Building some nice shiny new ones but not enough for something like this.
They can stick with the 'Gulf Cup'
