tbf they couldn't continue with the policy without admitting Oceania isn't a real confederation.

Agree. Time to merge it with Asia, while also merge CONCACAF and CONMENBOL. Oh, and while they're at it, incorporate more global WC qualifiers to provide more of a balance of the best teams in the competition.

I wasnt being serious. FIFA tend to come up with a load of different policies and they stop a while later. Stupid Golden Goals and things like that. This was just another

TBH, there weren't many countries in South America and Africa that have the facilities to succeed in a World Cup bid.

It would be fairer if the countries that wanted to apply could choose for themselves if they wanted to.
