There is a difference between being in-demand and getting good money.
When i was in Melbourne the 1st company i worked for paid me $600 a week.Which is crap.
Took me about a year and half and another company to get good money(around the $800 mark).
Which was still tough going after paying rent and bills.Plus shopping.
| Yeah, $800 a week you would definitely sruggle, so if you are looking at being comfortable, then the best place for you at the moment is WA. The place is booming and they are paying mega bucks because they cannot find enough skilled people to do the work that is there to do. </BLOCKQUOTE>
What could i hope to earn as a plumber in Perth/Fremantle?

If you get in the right place, you should be earning at least $1000 a week after tax. Then there will be the chance of weekend work on top of that.
I know someone in Adelaide who earns just under 2k a week and then he works almost every Saturday aswell, even if it is just a morning.

| Im earning about €1000 at the minute. But its not about the money. The weather alone and my kids not growing up in Ireland are worth more than any amount of money tbh.

| www.seek.com.au www.careerone.com.au www.realestate.com.au www.domain.com.au - good for looking at to get an idea about houses and their prices etc.. www.carsguide.com.au www.autotrader.com.au www.tradingpost.com.au www.carsales.com.au
As for the driving route, I am not sure how much you could earn, but that would depend on what you could drive. Big truck drivers are always wanted and are in high demand, but I am not sure you would want to do that. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Have all those sites in my bookmarks but was hoping for something more local. The adealide now one should do.
Any tips on Areas to avoid in Adelaide or should I ask Saha that as hes a local boy i think?
