plumbers can earn decent money, easily enough to afford those purchases.

I'm re-training. New car and every console under the sun per year sounds cool.

Just bought a house in Mentone (a minutes walk to the Mentone Beach) - in bayside Melbourne....moved in last week. Melbourne is a fb place to live.

My missus lives in Dandenong, and a few of her friends are in Rowville. It seems nice enough, but I feel out of bounds when I go further south than Caulfield.

Cesc, Mentone is top notch fun - although I maybe basing that on my first year uni days when trekking across Melbourne to go to the Edgy was the height of nightlife fun..

The Edgy is still "happening" according to my younger brother and sister - I think (oddly) Wednesday is its night.

Uni kids mostly. I'd never go there these days - it's the kind of place where private school kids wear Travisty shirts and the cover band opens its set with Third Eye Blind, then Blink 182, and later on will do "You're The Voice" and "Livin' on a Prayer". The punters just lap that **** up.
