If the press is to be believed, then Newcastle Utd could well be centre of yet another take over. This time an Icelandic consortium, and according to some reports it could be headed by Shearer.

Would Toon fans be happy with a situation they have at Sunderland with Shearer doing a Niall Quinn job backed by guys with plenty of money?

i heard this on SSN last night while they were showing the papers.

if he is going to sell the money must be good. why buy a club then sell it 2 months later?
