Anyone ever ventured into this 'classy' joint of a pub?

It's quite popular with football fans.

We've not been in there for a year or two but we've had quite a few good laughs in there. I remember one warm day we were in there and it was quite packed, there was a girl dancing on stage and she wasn't bad looking, she finished her dance and after he the next dancer came on, she was chubby, oldish and to be fair not the best looker, I've never seen a place empty so quickly. To be honest I felt quite sorry for her but not sorry enough to go back inside as we all stood outside supping our pints.

It's just a possible that this lovely establishment is a 2 minute walk from my work and I may have popped in for a pint or two (I was there just for the drink mind you....).

Where's that?

I ask out of curiosity, not for any visiting reasons....

It's certainly an experience........

If first went in a few years ago meeting up with a few mates already there before we moved on. I went in, went to the bar and ordered a pint and as I done so someone next to me said get a bottle as the pints are minging. The pint duly arrived and it was in a plastic glass - straight away I'm wondering what sort of place it was. There was a weird sort of sweaty smell near the bar too

About two minutes later all I heard was chanting from next to us going "Yid Army, Yid army" and I noticed a load of Spurs fans, then from the other side of the bar near the strippers - I heard some of our lot chanting back Sunderland songs, it was like a scene from the football factory, packed to the brim with football fans and looking very likjely to kick-off.

Around the same time there were two Millwall fans wanting to fight fourteen of us and a 50 year old (ish) women done up like a dogs dinner touting for business.

Getting onto the strippers - they go round collecting in a pint glass and apparently it's the only income they get, mostly foreign students IIRC and you get the kind of view only a gynecologist would normally get......

Actually quite amusing place to go for ten minutes or so with your mates for a laugh, not the kind of place you want to stay in very long though.

It looks like the pub I ventured into once on a trip to London in the 90s.

I got asked if I wanted to see the Go-Go girls, but didn't have time to stay
