When these hypersonic jets get rolled out, airships won't stand a chance. Niche market at best.

Airships are pretty cool :thup: I'd rather fly in one than a Helicopter anyway.

But that can take cars, buses, etc., surely airships can't take as many cars as a car ferry

Hypersonic jet

Expected to go Mach 10, and with a Nasa prototype expected by 2010.

I'd rather get on this than a glorified blimp

I can understand airships will be a nice plaything for the rich though.
