at what age should you leave 'home'?

inspired by jerleat thinking its weird for Tony7 to be living at home with his parents at the age of 32, what age is it still considered 'normal' to be still living with your parents? is there ever an age by which you shouldn't live at home or is it a purely something that is situational and no magical number applies?

Leave when you want, shouldnt be some magical age as everyones situation is different

I left home at 19. I think if you're living at home by the time you're in your mid-twenties, something isn't right.

Left at 19. If it was in a job it would have been constructive dismissal imo.

I plan to leave at 18, dependant upon getting into Uni.

Will probably come back at some point though.

I think it depends on different circumstances.
I'm 21 and would really like my own place but im going back to uni next year for another 3 years so i'm trying to raise funds for that. First year of that will be spent at home, the following two will be spent living with a friend if all goes to plan.
