Default The UK 24 Season Six Thread - SPOILERS - discussion of episodes shown on Sky One ONLY - Sundays at 9pm

Quote:
24, last season’s most Emmy®-nominated television series, is one of the most innovative, addictive and acclaimed dramas on television. In its first five seasons, the suspenseful series has been nominated for a total of 51 Emmys®, including five for Outstanding Drama Series and five for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Kiefer Sutherland. Last season also garnered Emmy® nominations for supporting actors Jean Smart and Gregory Itzin.

Created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, 24 retains its unpredictable and unique format in the highly anticipated sixth season. Each episode covers one hour of real time, and the season’s entire story takes place in one heart-stopping day, so that viewers again can follow characters as they experience an unforgettable day facing extraordinary circumstances.

Season six picks up 20 months after last season’s shocking season finale, when JACK BAUER (Kiefer Sutherland) was captured by Chinese government agents – battered, bloodied and headed for points unknown. WAYNE PALMER (DB Woodside), the strong-minded brother of the late President David Palmer, is now the President of the United States, and is aided by his sister SANDRA PALMER (Regina King), a powerful advocacy lawyer.

After a series of horrific terrorist attacks, Palmer and his team of advisors, KAREN HAYES (Jayne Atkinson) and THOMAS LENNOX (Peter MacNicol) – as well as CTU colleagues CHLOE O’BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub), CURTIS MANNING (Roger Cross) and BILL BUCHANAN (James Morrison) – begin an unthinkable nail-biting day.

24, created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, is produced by Real Time Productions and Imagine Television in association with Twentieth Century Fox Television. Joel Surnow, Robert Cochran, Howard Gordon, Evan Katz, Jon Cassar, Kiefer Sutherland and Brian Grazer are the executive producers. 24 is distributed by Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.
Seeing how it starts this evening, thought we should get the thread going. Don't even think of talking about the episodes early.

The prequel is here

Tonight's show is a double.

COME ON JACK

For the record, there's also a double-bill next week. And then the week after Lost's back, so there's a 24/Lost double-header

As a major warning for those who don't want spoilers, Sky has recently started showing a 24 spoiler with Muse (I think) in the background - this contains clips/spoilers for the first FIVE episodes Sky back on form
