Jack's Dad is stil bizarely loose, so expect him to show up again some time soon.
Although I've really liked this season, i reckon it will get better as soon as the plot with the drones is over (which is about 2 hours according to the Russian guy) as i'm guessing the plot will then be more personal which can only be a good thing. And ever since season 3, the second half of the season's have been alot better then the first imo |

Hmmm it looks like that he was willing to kill Jack and spare himself, but Jack's emotional talk about how he was never good enough for his Dad, etc, gave him a change of heart? As he's a 'patriot' he doesn't want the nukes to go off at all and knew Jack is the best bet of finding them, so spared him and helped him out by leaving the phone. He's then ran off cuz he still wants to save his own ass.
Either way, a few dodgy holes there, but that scene was still great when Jack found the phone and called Logan.
I'm still loving this season, and i was surprised at first when i saw all the flak in here it got. One downside though is that it doesn't really feel like a day, if that makes sense. In the earlier seasons for example, with the plot being 'something will happen by the end of the day' it made it feel like we were watching a real days events, but that isn;t the case now, but that's how it's been for a couple of years

yeah it seems like its now a case of, something will happen at the end of each hour, if i was that busy, with summat to do at the end of each hour, i'd be fooked, how does poor jack feel
this season is'nt too bad, last few episodes starting picking up a bit of pace.
loved logans comments though when jack said he was gonna storm the embassy, bout how last time jack done that, he ended up wanted by the chinese, and what was so good bout that that he wnated to do it again |

yeh, it would have been a bit pants if that hadn't have been mentioned and just brushed over, so Logan saying it was  everytime they bring up stuff from the past is usually decent, like when Logan said to Wayne he wanted to help like like David did for him. I get a horrible feeling that with Logan going out of his way to try and help his country, he's going to sacrifice himself in some way. If so, they better do it right |
