i lost mine too. canceled it before i tried calling it, obviously because it's now canceled I can't phone it to see if anyone has picked it up. stupid me

Yea cancelled mine and T-Mobile have said last person to make a phone call was 12pm, so no calls were made… Sim card blocked and phone barred and blacklisted on all UK Networks

But someone just got themselves a very good phone.

I lost a phone about 6 months or so ago. Was gutted, more because i never really lose things like this plus all the numbers. Got replacement SIM with the same number from phone company, saving me a lot of hassle with work stuff but had been to Horse Racing and was hammered, think i left it in the back of a cab. Annoyed the feck out of me so i feel your pain.

Got a Nokia 6300 instead though which i really like

I lost my phone in a cab about 3 years ago, I called it from my roomate's phone, the guy picked up the first time and then he'd just let it ring... until it was turned off all the time

Yea lost all the numbers, and a lot of pictures of my family which I did not transfer onto the Laptop yet..

It's pretty simple but i like the look and it does plenty of stuff. I didnt do any of that backing up stuff with my old phone. Learnt my lesson now though.

I was wearing a suit and had the phone in my trouser pocket and it must have slipped out sitting down in a cab. Usually i religiously check i have 'all my stuff' so was well annoyed.

The anger passed though. I got hold of numbers again and lost a bunch but thought of it as like a cull !

I don't know about your phone company but T-mobile has all of the calls you made or received this past 3 months accessible online so besides the people you haven't talked to for 3 months you still have everyone's number.
Maybe you can check your old phone bills too if details are included.
