it is pretty awesome picking up a few new cd's every week, used to do that all the time during sixth form and my year out. couldn't justify it now though, too many other expenses (football mainly) that take priority.

Buying a new CD is one of my favourite things actually. Would love to have enough money to afford to be buying 5 CDs a week but pretty much the same as Nick - football swallows up a crazy amount of the spare money I have.

A quick maths session shows 749 albums/ep's currently.

There's a few free (legally) downloaded ep's/albums/demos on my computer which I haven't counted.
Also think I have a few other old cd's in the house which ive tried to disown, as well as some old records in the attic.

I'm old school, about 500 albums and about 600 CDs. Someone do the math and convert it to gb and songs. Can't be bothered to see what I have on my Ipod but only about 100 sings at thi spoint

i love cds but i think i only have about 500. most of my spare money goes on them though and i don't really bother with downloading.

i know people with ridiculous collections on their computers who aren't really into music (including one who kept the current GB count updated in his msn name), they just hoard obsessively. kind of strange.
