Short of changing your money and traveling to the US, or investing in the currency market, you can't really take advantage of this at the individual level. You can enjoy a small, but barely perceptible discount, in products imported from the US. That's all.

Cheap imports seems good to the consumer at first - but in the long run it'll b*gger our economy too.

Also, the weak dollar has played a part in the record high oil prices here I believe.

If you have a friend in the US ask him to mail you the things you order online and you won't have to pay UK taxes on whatever you purchased
