Plastic is ****ing terrible stuff because it takes so long to break down.
They reckon bar a very small percentage that's been burned, every piece of plastic is still floating around somewhere. When you think about it that's a LOT of plastic. Also worries that it is starting to get into the food chain, because as it breaks down over time into smaller pieces, fish and other animals we eat are digesting it.
