I had a parcel delivered a couple weeks ago when I wasn't at home. The person who delivered it dumped the parcel in the wheely bin with all the rubbish and stuck a note through the door letting me know. The parcel stank afterwards.
What a ****, i hope you gave them a polite phone call afterwards

Who do Amazon use as its "Super Saver Delivery carrier" ? Post #13
There was no number on the ticket to phone, only a scribble saying "wheely bin", that's the only reason I found it. I did email Amazon, asking if it was common practice to leave parcels in with the garbage, but I never recieved a response.

HDNL don't have any contact phone numbers. They often claim they've tried to deliver, and have left a card - and on both occasions this happened to me I know for certain neither was true.

I had this the other day, ordered two books and a dvd, the books were dispatched first and the dvd a few days later.
Somehow I got the dvd first and a few days later still no sign of the books. Then it absolutely ****ed it down, and lo and behold I find the package soaking wet hidden behind our wheelie bin.
When I opened it up a bunch of spiders came charging out who'd clearly sneaked in to avoid the rain! Brilliant.

amazon almost not worth using since they switched to hdn.
agreed
Ive only ordered once since they switched and i paid extra for delivery. Pointless using it and taking the risk when play and hmv and others do free delivery as standard.
Also bookdepository good for books if you need them

Item arrived today in a box that is about the size of two shoes boxes stuck together. Inside that box was my watch - itself in a box the size of a pack of cards.
