I've tried to watch a MLS match twice, but quickly gave up both times because of the irritating TV production. Odd camera angles (the worst being some odd swirling motion at throw ins) and irrelevant statistics constantly popping up on the screen, accompanied by annoying sound effects, got in the way too much for me to enjoy the game. I'm sure you'd eventually get used to it, though.
Maybe it's time to give it another chance.

Just heard Scott Minto on the radio talking about Gullit, in addition to being the most laidback manager he's ever played under he used to say the same thing to the team every morning:
"Hello lovely boys, let's have some fun"

| With Michael Jackson already in the city it means at least 2 guys will be using that sentence every morning

Whenever i hear Basketball ticket prices quoted they always seem to be in the 100s of dollars, ffs !
| Lowest priced tickets (behind the goals) for MLS games will be about $20. Most expensive (at midfield) are around $50. </BLOCKQUOTE>
when i went to the derby match against chivas my ticket was $40, and that was one of the cheaper ones. other bands were something like $60, $75, $90 and $150

That's only since Beckham got here though, right?
At least I know that in NYC the tickets are usually $10 but when Becks came the cheapest ones were at $20
